Tom Ausley is the founding partner of Ausley, Algert, Robertson & Flores, LLP. He began practicing law in 1968 and was board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 1980.
Tom is highly respected by peers and judges alike and has the reputation of having unwavering integrity. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a Fellow in the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. For the past twenty plus years, he has been named in The Best Lawyers in America, Family Law Section. Best Lawyers also selected him as 2009 Lawyer of the Year in Family Law-Austin. Since 2003, Texas Monthly Magazine has recognized Tom as a Texas Super Lawyer. In 2008, he received the Distinguished Lawyer Award from the Austin Bar Association. He currently serves as the treasurer of the Family Law Council of the State Bar of Texas.
Tom is a master litigator. In 2000, he chose to train in the Collaborative law process as well, that he might provide an additional option to his clients to resolve their disputes.
